How are we going to do this?
Yesterday, after i finished that post, i had a flood of topics i thought to write on. Now, i don't want to burn out so i'll take it slow and steady. Once a day for now. i came up with a few...rule? Guidelines? For the blog though..
1. I promise to keep my posts short..ish except when it's necessary to be detailed.
2. I will skip all science jargons and only write in simple, understandable lay terms.
3. I'm always open to topic suggestions. If you have a question and want me to do a post on it, by all means, shootM
4. I will write on any and every topic that catches my eyes(hand?) or yhose of my majority of readers as long as it's health related; weightloss, dental health, mental health, cosmetic surgery, whatever. If i had this blog as at when Stella OBJ died, be rest assured my topic of the next day would have been on cosmetic surgery(i am not against it!).
That's all for today. I'll add more guidelines as i think of them. Free free to suggest.
Seee, wasn't that short?! Hahahaa
Tomorrow's topic : The weightloss equation.

Virgin blogging; garri-inspired.
First post! Hahaa..doesn't that remind you of the annoying first comments online? Well, this is my first time blogging. For someone almost addicted to the internet and on every major social media platform, you'd think i'd be a pro blogger my now, nope. I just get online to read and 'people-watch'.
Part of the reasons i've been reluctant to start blogging is because i didn't know what to blog about. I have several interests but i had to narrow it down to something or at least a broad enough subject that still gives me room to roam; commitment-phobe that i am. I'm finally decided; HEALTH it is.
You see,i'm always reading about it. From body health to skin health to plain old cosmetic health. It's 8.25am right now and i finally popped this blog's cherry after going online to look up the nutrtional value of garri. I recently moved back to nigeria, 2 years of study and 15kg worth of sourvenir. I was already clearly seeing myself at 100kg! My weight as at when i left nigeria in '09 was hovering around 85kg.
As much as it was fun, the whole experience of living and studying outside nigeria, it took a major toll on my body. I mean, what's the fun of finally having access to all the fab shops when none of the clothes you love fit?!
As of today, i'm 75kg, ten kg down since december. Still a lot of work to do. I only just started exercising; my bf being a major inspiration. In my next few posts, i'll try to break down the basics of weightloss and nutrition, as i understand it. Believe me, for someone who has never remembered being skinny, i have more than my fair share of knowledge on these topics. I didn't always put it into practise, but that didn't stop me from watching youtube health videos and reading compkex research data while steadily dipping my big spoon into a big tub of icecream.
Stick around. Please!
